Do You Want to Do a Puzzle?

Hershel groggily turned the key and stepped inside his tiny London apartment. It had been another very long day at the university. Hundreds of papers to read and more to grade. Tossing his briefcase on the desk, Hershel hung up his coat and hat and sat down to take off his shoes.
"Daddy?"
Hershel looked at the little redhead boy who should have been sleeping. Hershel was ready to march him back to his room and plomp him on the bed, but all he could do was sigh. "Yes, Al?"
Al held out the puzzle he had been holding. "Do you want to do a puzzle?"
All sleepiness vanished instantly. Hershel leaned forward and grinned at his son. "I'd love to."
